Job Description

We are currently looking for Nursery/Kindergarten practitioners interested to live and develop career in Cork, Ireland.

This Preschool has open in 1998.  The Ethos of the company is that they care for each child, as they would like their own children to be cared for if they were going out into childcare, the school offers a safe, homely and happy environment where each child is valued for his/her individual abilities. They provide the materials and encouragement to allow him/her to reach his /her full potential. 

 

This School caters for children from 6 months to 10 years of age, divided into two different centres.

- one Centre catering for sessional care, Ecce playschool and junior playschool, and After school care in the afternoons and school holidays. They have a private bus service to the local schools.

- the other centre caters for children from 6 months to 5 years of age this centre is divided into 5 different age groups.

 The School embraces the Aistear programme throughout the different rooms and children are encouraged to develop to their full potential which will enable them to go on and be confident young people by the time they go on to primary school .

 They have a very diverse community within their setting, the school has children from many different countries, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Uganda, France, Germany, and Spain.

Job requirements

Main requirements:

  • EU Nationality
  • Good level of English, both written and spoken
  • bachelor’s degree in early Years/ Pre-School (0 - 6 Years old) - Mandatory
  • Experience in working with young children

Offer

Job offer:

  • Full Time permanent Contract
  • Salary : weekly wage of €380.45 Gross – Annual Salary €19.783,40 – Monthly - €1648.62
  • The hours are full time and may vary as childcare facility is open from 30 am – 6.15 pm the hours will vary within this time frame , all new members of staff start off on 8.30 am – 5.30pm
  • 1 hour lunch break and a tea break of 15 mins in the morning .
  • Induction period where the new staff member is shadowed by the manager and this is for as long as is required
