We are currently looking for Nannies who have experience, personality, a genuine love of hospitality and who are adaptable in order to offer a truly personal service to the guests.

Role Purpose                                                                                                              

To care for and entertain children aged 4 months to 13 years with a variety of activities in a safe and hygienic setting within a chalet, hotel or children’s club.


From our teams, we expect an attitude whereby ‘nothing is too much trouble’. You will be expected to fulfil the following responsibilities:

  • Care for children aged from four months to thirteen years planning and delivering an engaging and appropriate activity plan.
  • Ensure that the guests and their children benefit from the highest possible level of service.
  • Have the ability to work both as a private nanny within a chalet or a hotel and in one of our children’s clubs.
  • Be adept at keeping an efficient and accurate record of plans and routines.
  • Be confident in dealing with guests.
  • Liaise with UK office, the childcare manager and other staff and work as a team.
  • Have a flexible approach to ‘stepping in’ where necessary.




  • Provide a safe, hygienic and stimulating environment for children.
  • Care for children in our chalets and hotels for 8 flexible hours a day between the hours of 8am and 8pm and in the Explorers between 8:30am and 5:30pm.
  • Provide a drop off and collection service for children in ski school and Scott Dunn childcare.
  • Ensure when transporting children in a vehicle that children are wearing the correct child restraint (car seat).
  • Plan and deliver a range of activities both indoors and outdoors including evening entertainment in peak weeks.
  • To build and maintain relations with external suppliers such as hotel staff and ski schools etc
  • Provide a nutritious lunch and healthy morning and afternoon snacks and ensure food is prepared according to employer’s food hygiene policy.
  • Ensure that the chalet, hotel room or children’s club is clean and tidy with toys and equipment put away at the end of each day.
  • Communicate with parents at the end of the day and throughout their holiday regarding their child’s wellbeing.
  • Provide a degree of flexibility wherever possible to meet parent’s needs and wishes.
  • Ensure all daily records and accident and incident forms are completed and filed correctly.
  • Baby-sit up to three times a week (including New Year’s Eve) if required by the guest (paid in addition to your weekly wage).
  • Travel to any of our other resorts as and when bookings require.
  • If a nominated driver drive the children around the resort in a safe and responsible manner using the correct child restraint for the child’s age.

Main requirements:

  • EU Nationality
  • Experience, personality, a genuine love of hospitality, adaptable in order to offer a truly personal service to the guests
  • Strong attention to detail, a professional attitude and extremely guest focused
  • Very Good Level of English
  • Second Language as French or German would be considered a plus
  • all applicants to be available for the full season (November to the end of April/early May),
